How does it work?

Each Scan My Pet tag contains:
- A QR Code: a small square to scan with a smartphone, like scanning a restaurant menu.
- An NFC chip: the same technology as in contactless bank cards, which allows reading the tag with a simple gesture.
In practice, what happens if someone finds my pet?
- The person notices the tag and scans it with their phone (using the camera for the QR Code, or simply approaching their phone to the tag for NFC).
- They immediately access an online page containing the essential information you have chosen to display about your pet (phone number, address, behavior, etc.).
- They can call you or send you a message, without needing to install anything.
No account, no app, no battery: everything is designed to be ultra simple, even for someone who is not comfortable with digital.
And security?
- You choose the visible information.
- You can modify or disable the profile at any time.
- No sensitive data is public without your consent.
And where does it work?
- All over the world, as long as the phone used has access to the Internet.
